Company profile
Fritz Dienes founded "Dienes Apparatebau GmbH" in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, in 1930. The co-operation with Honeywell started in 1970 - as then the company trades under the name "Dienes Honeywell International Inc.". In 1976 the son of the founder of Dienes Apparatebau GmbH, Jörg Dienes, and Günter Schaack went into business for themselfs with a part of the former company, they based in Offenbach am Main, Germany. The products roughly corresponds to today's range of products.
Following the resignation of Jörg Dienes in the end of the 80th and the early death of Günter Schaack, Thomas Gutmann became CEO of the company in January 2001.
For several decades Snap Lock Limit(R) Switches are the core business of Dienes. For high quality and robust switches we produce Snap Lock(R) Limit Switches by our own. We are general agent and licensees from NAMCO Controls (US) a part of Danaher Speciality Products Company and the EJA Group, UK.
Besides our own production trading with limit switches, proximity switches, safety switches, sensors, etc. is our profession. Hence we distribute and consult all those products for you. Examples are producer like: Honeywell, Guard Master, Nelsa, Euchner, Schmersal, Mountain and futher more. Also, thermocouples and thermistors are in product range for decades.
Today business location for Jörg Dienes Anwendungstechnik GmbH is Grosskrotzenburg near Hanau (Main-Kinzig-Kreis), Germany. We moved there from Offenbach am Main in 1990.
